Sadie Amara Calvano is an actress from America that has gained fame for portraying Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom'. Calvano born in California, was originally interested in competitive gymnastics. She decided, later on to pursue a career in acting. In 2010 she made her debut on screen in a scene from the CBS show 'NCIS.' In the biographical crime-drama film J Edgar, she made her debut in front of the camera a few months later. She is now one of the most exciting actors in recent times. In 2011, she was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination for the Best Actress on a TV Series as in the role of Guest Actress 11-15. In 2013, she was named a second time for the Young Artist Award. This is for her role on the Disney XD show 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was part of the ensemble cast of Mom throughout its first three seasons and was featured at least a few times in the fourth. Her outing in 'Mom' was recognized with the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in 2015.
